Situated on the Elaphiti Islands near Dubrovnik, the project embraces the serenity of the Mediterranean landscape while fostering a seamless dialogue between architecture and nature.

The design draws inspiration from the local context, referencing traditional stone walls and vernacular residential forms. Positioned at the highest point of the plot, the house opens towards expansive views, while the cascading terrain is carefully shaped to follow the site’s natural topography.

The building is articulated as two distinct volumes, reflecting its programmatic division into separate residential units. This strategy avoids the impression of a single monolithic structure, instead creating a composition of smaller, human-scaled forms that integrate harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
